I see: Boot Device Not Found Please install an operating system on your hard disk. Hard Disk (3F0) F2 System Diagnostics When I boot to a Window 8 USB: I have gone to a cmd prompt and run chkdsk C: /r It found no problems. How can I fix the boot up process so it boots to Windows 8. HP Stream Notebook PC 11 I deleted all partitions except C: (that has windows on it) I moved all unallocated space into the C: partition. I ran: Code: Diskpart List Disk Select Disk 0 List Partition Select Partition 1 Shrink desired=100 Create Partition EFI FORMAT FS=FAT32 LABEL="ESP" Assign Letter=W Exit bcdboot C:\Windows /s W: /f ALL I'm getting this error: Failure when attempting to copy boot files.
