You're going to have to download a Windows 10 ISO which has the whole system: Redirecting or as an alternative for around $30.00 U.S., purchase a potable USB Drive.

P pfcooper Contributor Joined May 4, 2015 Posts 167 Location Meadowvale NS Canada Mar 7, 2024 #23 I have created a iso recovery, that's how I'm getting into cmd prompt. can't save data in recovery using this method, only alternative is install windows losing apps and data. I do have cd/dvd drive on my pc and on broken pc, found a blank cd and created repair disc but it doesn't boot into windows

If not, there are methods of recovery, but unless we can get them off your disc, it gets expensive. I recommend at least 2 backup sources plus the cloud to all users.
