I feel your pain regarding nvlddmkm, been dealing with it over a year (I have a thread here too) I'm leaning towards a dying GPU or RAM. In fact my system has totally locked up at boot a few times as well.

I also see you said about the ntkrnl and a windows reset. When the issues first started I completely reinstalled windows on a new drive as I thought this was due to a dying drive.
