    [SOLVED] Windows 7 Professional x64, KB4343900 failed

Success! After that FRST fix, KB434900 installed, and after a reboot, another update, and another reboot, Windows is working just fine. Now I got to clean up my downloads/desktop folders. Thank you so much for the help, and expect a donation!

    [SOLVED] Windows 7 Professional x64, KB4343900 failed

I took a look at a few of the files mentioned in the SURT log. They really are corrupt. Just NUL-NUL-NUL-NUL-NUL until the end of file. I must have really goofed when I was messing around with SURT before making this topic.

    [SOLVED] Windows 7 Professional x64, KB4343900 failed

I'm pretty sure that's not the problem, and that I just need one last SFCFix. My second to last CheckSur had 306 corrupt catalogs. Your last fix replaced 250 of them. That would leave 56, which is exactly as many errors as I've got left. Here's the checkdisk log, but I don't think you'll find...

Turn windows features on/off didn't populate, FYI. I'm assuming that as soon as it stops saying "please wait," the components hive is loaded and I can proceed.

    [SOLVED] Windows 7 Professional x64, KB4343900 failed

I've been struggling with this for awhile. I have mucked around with SURT and in trying to provide it with missing files by extracting from MSUs (they refused to install), but now it's just telling me files are corrupt instead of missing, and the update still won't install. First, I flushed the...
