The reasons for processor speed differences is clear now - they are both BIOS and Power plan dependant. So in my Pro-Audio/Video mode, it always throttles on 3.2 GHz. Keep on testing it in Pro Audio/Video mode, though in Balanced mode - they happen regularly.
