I got this PC pre-assembled and I'm not sure what's plugged in where. I included a picture of the WD Blue SSD just to make it clear I know that's my C:/ drive. The HDD, Seagate Barracuda, is in the middle of three sections arranged vertically in the back, which from the side are concealed behind the motherboard. Drawing a line from where I can see the HDD in the back to the area visible (from the side) towards the front, I can see two different cables coming out and hooking into the motherboard.
I'm assuming I just need to turn the PC off and unhook one of these?
Overview of the motherboard, with flash obscuring the cables in question.
Just showing the SDD I'm reinstalling Windows on
Two cables coming out from in front of where the HDD shown below is, hooking in just in front of the RAM.
HDD in the middle of three vertical back compartments here, to the left.
In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.
In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.
Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot dialog box. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.
If you don't want to do these things then take the cover off before taking the pics. I can't see anything for the reflections in the glass.
The only thing I was really trying to show in the photos is this section:
Because these are the only two cables coming out of the front side of the compartment hidden behind my motherboard where the HDD I need to disconnect (so I can reinstall Windows on the SSD) is.
The other photos were just to show that I know where my SSD is and where the HDD is. To my knowledge, the cable I need to disconnect has to be one of the two pictured coming into the motherboard from the compartment hidden behind the motherboard, shown here.
