Hello we have a windows 2016 server that is failing to install new CU's.
The eventviewer is showing Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x80070003: 2024-09 Cumulative Update for Windows Server 2016 for x64-based Systems (KB5043051).
We already removed the SoftwareDistribution folder to create a new one.
We disabled WSUS to pull the updates directly from the Internet
We ran DISM /ONLINE /CLEANUP-IMAGE /RESTOREHEALTH and sfc /scan now.
No corruptions were found.
Also tried another server as different source for DISM
When i look at CBS.log is see the following error.

Can u assist us with fixing this server.
