Good day everyone,
Recently I was trying to install a software for backup on a clients machine only to be met with a assembly error.
Tried running SFC, but it came back with a "Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation".
Followed that with DISM and was greeted with "Error 14098 Component store is corrupted".
Tried in-place upgrade with no sucess.
On this machine, formatting is my last option, so here I am asking for some help.
Attached the original error plus the dism and cbs folder in case someone has the time to check it out.
Kind regards.
---Edit---
Original machine is still with the client, this is a clone I made to try and fix the issue.
I've also tried fixing .Net and installing Visual C++ manually (same error)
