Problem running Synctoy in Win10

Hello,
I used to have Synctoy working on my system not so long time ago, but something happen, I don't know why, but now I keep geting this error:

Failed to create folder pair. La récupération de la fabrique de classe COM pour le composant CLSID {C201C012-C929-4D72-B9C5-341D48630630 } a échoué en raison de l'erreur suivante : 80040154.

I look all over the net to try to find a solution but I didn't find anything to help me. If someone can help me with this I would be grateful.

Have you tried re-installing Synctoy?

Yes, couple of times, ans also I change the destioation folder without any success. I also try to re-install Net Framework 3.5, again no success

Hi!

Right-click on Windows Start, click on run, type dcomcnfg, press enter (on your keyboard).
It should appear the component services window.
Double click on: Component Services, Computers, MyComputer, DCOM Config.
Search and find Synctoy and/or {C201C012-C929-4D72-B9C5-341D48630630}.
Right-click on it/them, click properties, click the security tab.
Click edit... under access permissions, then take a screenshot.
Click edit... under configuration permissions, then take a screenshot.
Post the screenshots here.

Did it work in windows 10?
Or was you using a previous OS?

By the way, try to run it in compatibility mode.
Right-click on the program, click properties, switch to the compatibility tab, tick run this program in compatibility mode for:, select windows 8, click apply and ok.
If this shouldn't work, try windows 7.
If this shouldn't work, tick also run this program as an administrator; then re-try with windows 10, then windows 8, then windows 7.

It used to work on win10, but I think something must have corrupt my syutem and from my previous message, some thins are missing, Like I saidm, I even try to completelty delete the program and install it somewhere else and still the same error message..... Son't know what else to do, maybe some patch to the registry ???

In a last attempt, I went to regedit and delete every line refering to Synctoy, reboot the computer, and re-install Synctoy and I still get the same result.
I am beat.... don't know what else to do ....

Hence the original error:

Could be translated as:

I failed to create folder pair because I can not find the COM class factory for component CLSID {C201C012-C929-4D72-B9C5-341D48630630}, i.e. it is not registered, i.e. I can not find the instructions to do (complete/accomplish/execute) this task (because the MS sync framework is not even present in your computer).

I downloaded the x64 installer from cnet.
Uninstall your version and try the one from cnet:

I saw that the Miscosoft Sync Framework wasn't installed. So I downloaded it and install it. Then I Uninstall SyncToy and download the synctoy from your link. Installed it and I get same result......Damn

I could be wrong but I think the version on CNET installs also MS sync framework.

Please, uninstall both then use only the one from CNET.
