[SOLVED] Error during launching program, many errors in SFCFix

Restart the computer.
Check Windows Update and report the result.
If it fails, copy the file C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\cbs.log to your desktop.
Zip the copied file and attach the zipped cbs.log to your next reply.

Any remaining issues ?
 
If you like Chrome (version 109 is the last one for Windows 7) you may continue using it.
Edge for Windows 7 is also no longer supported so I would stay with Chrome.

I saw that there is unofficially SP2 for windows 7 ... is it worth installing?

No, it is just a wrapper for some Windows Updates as stated on the given webpage. Don't install any unofficial updates.
 
Windows 7 works fine on this computer, but I'm worried about the end of support. Can I install Windows 10? I read somewhere that Windows 10 doesn't support this generation of CPU ;/
I'll remind you of the specifications:
Laptop Toshiba Satellite Pro 500
CPU Intel Core i5 M580 2.6ghZ
RAM: 4 GB
HDD: 500GB
 
Dunno if this laptop support Windows 10, 4GB seems to small to run W10 smoothly.
Another option is to keep this machine as it is and buy a new one, with Windows 10/11.
You can still use this machine as a backup.

I know this is a separate thread, but one quick question:
Do you have a laptop brand that you recommend for reliability? I watch a lot of videos where there are problems with rebulling, burning MSFET power supply section ;/ I don't need best graphics in it, a laptop for the garage max 15", I'm thinking about i5 processor, 8th to 11th generation - so that in the future I can also use Windows 11
