Well, suddenly today, V5 was installed on this PC and my laptop. The upgrade went fine and it would seem my configuration settings in V4.x carried over into V5 just fine. So that is good.
I am not particularly thrilled with the new Dashboard/UI especially with the large portion that is dedicated to the "ONLINE PRIVACY" section and VPN station. I feel it essentially amounts to an in-my-face advertisement and promotion of a feature I don't have because I have not paid extra for the "Premium Plus" version of Malwarebytes.
Speaking of paying extra, I found their pricing plans confusing so I started a new thread asking for clarification here.

Windows 11 version 24H2 compatibility
Users may experience a delay in startup when launching Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Reader, or when printing from Chrome browser. Fix currently targeted for November 14 2024 release.
Monitoring for unsecured Wi-Fi connections may trigger the Windows Location Access prompt to appear (example: Malwarebytes version 5.2.1.144 needs permission to use signals like GPS or Wi-Fi, which can be used to determine your precise location). Note: Malwarebytes does not access your device's location. This notification is triggered because Malwarebytes uses Windows provided methods for the purpose of determining whether your Wi-Fi connection is to a secure - or insecure - access point. Fix currently targeted for November 14 2024 release.
