I use a 2.5" HDD + USB 3.0 enclosure case, when the Windows eject function "safely remove hardware" is executed and finished and the letter "E:" disappears from Windows my hand hit in enclosure case usb and this case move in the table, this hit shock heads of hdd touch in platters and damage? Note: without disconnecting the USB cable from the PC/enclosure case after ejection

My 2.5″ HDDs are a bit old 2013 models WD10JPVX-08JC3T5 and HGST HTS541010A99E662 i other new HDD 2.5″ seagate ST500LM030

my enclosure cases 2.5″ HDDs + Kesu 2530 or Orico 25pw1 black

Hand bumping alone will not damage the drive unless you hit it hard. Those enclosures are designed to protect the drive from this.

Have you tested it to see if it works? If so and it does. I would not worry about it.

Also, it should be noted that hard drives are pretty robust. And most 2.5" hard drives are designed to go in laptops where they are constantly jostled about. You would likely need to drop it on to a hard concrete floor from several feet up before damage to the platters or R/W head occurred.

You could open an elevated command prompt (as administrator) and run chkdsk /r on the drive. Note this can take a long time and appear to be frozen but just let it finish. If all is well, then I agree, I would not worry about it.

Having said that, even if this event never happened, a good backup plan, is still essential.

Just stop it with the constant questions that have already been answered many, many times for you.

Go and revisit all those sites where you have already made many Topics on exactly the same theme - read the replies again.

The replies will not change so you will have to - stop it - stop wasting all the volunteers' time repeating the same things.
