DPC Watchdog Error: 0x133_VRF_ISR_nvlddmkm!unknown_function

Turns out they didn't read the first sentence of my message where I told them it's been 5 months so no refund for me haha. Might try to RMA with the serial number.

I physically removed the GPU from my machine and ran Furmark on my IGPU for 5 minutes at the same settings - 100% usage at a stable 40C with no crash. Gonna plug it back in to the x4 slot and test again.

Had to remove an ssd for it to fit but I just ran Furmark for a whole 5 minutes on my GPU in the PCIE 4.0 x4 lane at a stable 77C with no crash. Maybe it's my mobo?

What's next on the to-do list? :-)

I don't think I did DDU in safe mode - just tried restarting into safe mode and get no display out from GPU or IGPU where there should be a list of boot options.

There has been a lot of new activity on your system so can you please run the Sysnative data collection app again and post the new output?

See my post #19; have you verified that the system is fully stable without the 4070Ti installed? If not, please do that.

I rather think your problem may well be a bad graphics card and if it's stable without the card then I think that would confirm it. The only other thing you could try is back-level drivers. Download DDU and the most recent four driver versions. Install each driver version, using DDU to remove the earlier one, and see whether it's stable on any of them. If it fails on all driver versions and it's stable without the graphics card, then I'd be 99.99% certain the card is faulty. In that case RMA it.

Regarding post #19 I physically removed my 4070 and ran Furmark on my IGPU and had no issues - is there more I need to do to verify the system is fully stable?

Also, am I good to use DDU not in safe mode?

Lastly, I used Asus' warranty checker and apparently it expired in December of 2023 despite the card being released in January of 2023. How odd.

No, that's clear evidence that the problem is the 4070

Yes.

You said earlier that it's 5 months old? I don't know what the warranty terms are where you live, but I would expect a warranty RMA at least after only 5 months. Read the small print.

Away from my pc for the next couple days.

I bought it used 5 months ago but the series itself was released not more than 2 years ago and ASUS NVIDIA warranty is 3 years minimum in the US so either the warranty checker is wrong (it said itself that it could be) or the seller did something to void the warranty.
