@sylvain, it appears you might not be aware that BillP sold WinPatrol 10 years ago. See WinPatrol: Changing of the Guard. Note also that, although WinPatrol still works, Bret stopped updating WinPatrol many years ago.

That's because it matched your operating system.
I'm using Windows 11 Version 23H2 (OS Build 22631.4602)
If you got it from Tech Spot or similar, it had adware which your system rejected.
I got it from here. The installer has the standard Winpatrol icon, unlike the newest version. Maybe the "newest" version is a fake version.
