BSOD TCPIP.SYS CRASH

Hello,

I have had the issue of my computer crashing about once a day for a few months now. I am not sure how to fix the crashes. I've tried updating my drivers, resetting my ip, and uninstalling various security programs I have but I cannot figure out the issue. I did a crash dump and it says that the failure bucket is 0x109_1_tcpip!Ipv6pSkipNetworkLayerHeaders so it looks like an Ipv6 issue. I posted on another tech support forum and they recommended I post on this forum.

Computer specs:
CPU- 3700x
GPU- 2070 super
16gb ddr4 ram
Gigabyte x570 auros pro wifi

If anyone could please help me fix these BSOD crashes it would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

How do you see these on my computer? I thought that I uninstalled them all.

Okay thanks I'll click the link you sent. I definitely did go to apps and clicked uninstall so I'm not sure why it's still saying that they're on my computer.

Antiviruses typically need special uninstall tools from the vendor themselves to properly remove them, the inbuilt installer is typically notoriously bad at removal.

I uninstalled Norton fully I think but don't understand the link you sent about uninstalling spybot. I deleted though folder though so hopefully It's off my system, idk. Alright hopefully it won't crash anymore

There are no shortcuts with security products. Search for the official uninstall tool for each of those security products. I really would uninstall them all - via the official tools

  • I have tried the following (free, or pro through giveaway) uninstallers (I like portable versions!), listed in alphabetical order.
If you choose iobit, smarty, or chemtable, they have a monitoring function; therefore, you can activate it and the changes made by the installation will be recorded.
    • Chemtable "Soft organizer" or "reg organizer": they work also in trial mode.
    • geek uninstaller (portable version available).
    • iobit uninstaller.
    • revo uninstaller (portable version available).
    • smarty uninstaller.
    • wise program uninstaller (portable version available).
  • Reinstall the spybot version you was using in the past.
  • Download (these x64 files) from the spybot link: unins000.exe, unins000.msg, unins000.dat.
  • If you had Spybot 1.6, you should put the files here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Spybot – Search & Destroy
If you had Spybot 2, you should put the files here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Spybot – Search & Destroy 2
  • Double-click unins000.exe (i.e., the spybot uninstall application)
  • Run the uninstaller to remove leftovers (if it will not do it on its own)

When I go to download those files it doesn't download anything. Idk what to do, I'm still having the crashes. Should I do a clean install of Windows or update the bios?
