Yes, please try to upgrade to 24H2 using the UpdateAssistant.

Windows 11 Installation Assistant to your desktop.
  • Right-click on Windows11InstallationAssistant.exe and select the option: Run as administrator.
  • Press the Update now button, click after the compatibility check on Next.
  • The Update Assistant will now download the latest Feature Update.
  • After verifying the download, the Feature Update will be installed.
  • When this process is ready, click on the Restart now button to complete the installation.
 
tried that and and went to the blue screen showing this

Has this system been upgraded from Windows 10 to 11 with Secure Boot partially enabled?

i think it may be easier to do a full fresh windows install save you your time, everything was much appreciated

Please check your drive configuration in the UEFI-settings first? Normally you won't see A and B drives like this nowadays on systems without floppy drives!
 
ok will do, A & B are new drives and the only boot drive is C. I'll go into bios and check now.
 
Sorry no, now it won't recognise my ethernet and using a tablet to reply. Apparently it says this device cannot start error code 10
