Hello,

I use WithSecure console to apply updates on server and it say that all is ok but in fact no !!

I see that one server (file server in production) not apply update since May 2024. The last cumulative update : 0x80070003 error.

I tried to rebuild database of Windows update but the problem is always here.

DISM no detect problem and Components Scanner neither. SFC don't find error.

I try In-place upgrade to same version on copy of server but I don't have "Keep personal files" option and I don't trut this option.

I join file for ask your help.

Thanks for advance :-)

Hi and welcome to Sysnative,

Upload the setupapi.dev.log file
  • Open Windows Explorer and browse to the C:\Windows\INF folder.
  • Right-click on the file setupapi.dev.log and choose Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder.
  • Now the message will appear, "Windows cannot create the Compressed (zipped) Folder here. Do you want it to be placed on the desktop instead?"
  • Click on the Yes button here.
