[*] Extract the zip file to your Desktop. Open the folder [B]gsmartcontrol-2.x.x-win64[/B] which should be located on your Desktop and double-click [B]gsmartcontrol.exe[/B] to launch the program.
[*] Identify your drive in the list (if recognized by the tool), and hover your mouse over it.
[*] Please note: If the [B]SMART Status[/B] reads: [B]Unsupported[/B], stop and let us know.

[*] Otherwise: > double-click on the (problematic) drive you want to test.
[*] Open the [B]Self-Tests[/B] tab, then select [B]Extended Self-test[/B] in the [B]Test type[/B] drop-down list and click on [B]Execute[/B] (this test can take a few hours to complete).
[*] Open the [B]Attributes[/B] tab and if you have any entries highlighted in [b][color=#FF0000]red[/color][/b] or [b][color=#FF40FF]pink[/color][/b], take a screenshot of the GSmartControl window and attach it in your next reply;
