[SOLVED] 0x900706be Error when trying to install KB5005463 and KB5015020

Hi, Photonix.

Things look a lot better. Before taking a look at your CBS log, is there any particular reason you want to reset?

Photonix,

Everything looks fine. DISM completed without errors and corruptions are fixed.

Let's confirm this by running once more the SFC command. If no errors, all is good. If errors appear, I would like to check a new CBS log.

Note: Make sure to restart the computer after the last SFC.

I 'restarted' the computer because SFC said the changes would be applied after re-starting. Perhaps the word 'reset' was not the best to use since it has other connotations.😁

okay, I'm going to RESTART now, and will attach the CBS afterward when it reboots.

Dr M,

Attached should be the CBS.
If everything looks good now, please let me know. I'll send a site donation after (because this is definitely worth it).

Thanks again for all the help, it's been great having your assistance.

Hi, Photonix!

The last screenshot is just perfect!

So, everything is good, and your updates are working now.

Something to have in mind:

You are still running version 21H1. The latest version for Windows 10 is 21H2. It is important always to keep current with the latest security fixes from Microsoft. This can patch many of the security holes through which attackers can infect your computer. End of life for 21H1 (for non-enterprise users) is December 2022, so you may either choose to upgrade now or during the 6 upcoming months.

To do so, you can go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and click on Check for Updates. Normally, version 21H2 will be offered to you.

Alternatively, you can go to this Microsoft page, and click on the Update now button, to let the Update Assistant tool to guide you to upgrade.

Thanks for the reply.
I will do that now. I tried doing that before but because of the update issues I couldn't.
Thanks again for all your help!
