[10v1803b17134 x64] BC 0xd1, 0x1E, 0x124

I found the 0x124 dumps from your earlier post. They seem to be internal machine check exceptions involving the processor cache which makes me even more worried about the CPU assuming it's the same CPU. I'd still recommend disabling any BIOS performance boosting settings.

I haven't done any OC on this machine, i will see if i can see anything in bios, it is poss it has some form of auto OC? This problem has persited in one form or another every since i had the machine from new, 3 years now. I have made several posts over that time, it is poss it is all related, with the exception of a post i made about PSU failure.
The crahes have changes over the last year though, everything was much more heavy load, game orientated crashes prior to this year, now they are pretty rare in a game at all, more of a first hour booted up time frame, if it doesn't crash in that period i seem pretty safe, so i have been leaving comp on and just letting it sleep overnight. It is late here and i am waffling, so thanks for your help yet again, it is truely appreciated.

Searching for "turbo" and "overclock" in the English manual for your motherboard suggests the BIOS has such options. The sections titled "Load Optimized CPU OC Setting" reads like something that could be applying a subtle overclock, for example. I'd make sure such settings are disabled.

I've seen 0x124 bugchecks be fixed with BIOS updates, getting thermals under control, removing overclocks and/or bumping voltages to levels which allow the overclocks to work. If you're still getting 0x124 bugcheck which point to the CPU cache as the source of the problem I'd suspect you're either still having thermal problems or there's a problem with the CPU itself. I suppose it's possible the replacement PSU is having problems but if it's a good quality PSU it seems unlikely. Are you still getting 0x124 bugchecks?

5 more dumps over a period of time, 2 today, before that a good week or maybe 2 since last one. Just to sum up what is going on, it happens across the board, not related to only one type of action/use ie. gaming. Although gaming does suffer with the BSOD so does browsing or watching video, gaming seems to be more common but not exclusive. I do not feel this a a load or heat issue specifically, although they may well add to the chance.
Given that you seem to be swaying towards a cpu issue, which as the issue is as old as the machine and no driver, bios update has effected anything to date, can u check these dumps out with CPU in mind. Really did not want to have to buy a new one as this is a 6700k and good for another couple of years really, but if this is where we are going, a little more confirmation would be appreciated before i have to shell out for such an expensive upgrade. Many thanks, and after this i will stop bothering you with this issue, promise.

If you haven't done so already I'd recommend checking the CPU temperatures while idle and under load using a tool like HWMonitor. Generally, if the CPU is reaching 85C or higher it can start to malfunction; usually resulting in odd memory errors. I am actually seeing errors in the dump files that could be explained by overheating so it's definitely something I'd suggest looking at before replacing the CPU. However, if the temperatures are fine then the most likely explanation is a malfunctioning CPU based on what I see in the bugcheck 0x124 dump file. It's an internal error so there's nothing else in the system that would generate it and specifies a problem with the CPU cache. Overheating can cause the cache to temporarily malfunction, though, so - if it is overheating - there is hope that the CPU will be fine if you can get the temperatures under control.

Thanks for the quick response, temps are not the issue i have monitered them many times throughout this problem, even under heavy gaming they stay below any temp that may cause a crash issue. Guess i got a bad cpu from the start. Ok i will start looking into replacing it, hope it is in fact that.
