I get this every time I boot up. I followed the YouTube instructions and disabled CxUtilSvc in Services, but it still pops up. Any ideas?

Thanks, but I don't see any Conexant driver among the audio driver options. Am I missing something?

Where are you looking?

EDIT: Run the audio troubleshooter.

EDIT #2: If the sound is OK, go into the Control panel> Programs & Features and delete anything Conexant there. If nothing, back up Registry and search there. You might have to research other names since Conexant changed hands a few times.

This is what I see when I attempt to uninstall from the Control Panel. I have downloaded and installed all Conexant drivers I can find and I continue to get the same popup notification when I boot up. Maybe I just have to live with it.

Thanks to all. Amazingly, the notification is gone! 👏 I think what I had failed to do was to do delete the files in C:\Program Files\Conexant\ and C:\Program Files (x86)\Conexant\. Whether it was that or some other step previously mentioned that I either didn't follow or overlooked, that annoying popup is now gone for good. I tested the audio and it's working fine. I'll made a donation in appreciation of your help.
