Audio pops sometimes while playing games

When you get a chance can you take a look at this twitch clip? around 7 seconds can you hear a pop? Five0AnthO - test If it's in that clip that's on his/twitches end and not mine if it happens at the same spot every time right? I even have latencymon running when that happened and nothing spiked at all.

I've been hearing stuff like this for a few days now but mainly on twitch and specifically GTA5 streams so i assume it's their issue. Discord and games are fine no pops at all. This stuff is making me go crazy :cautious:

So i had latencymon running for almost 6 hours and this is the result, it didn't turn red until maybe the 4 and a half hour mark i think. Is this always bad cause i don't believe i heard anything when this spiked. I also have the report i'll just post them below.

CONCLUSION
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Your system appears to be having trouble handling real-time audio and other tasks. You are likely to experience buffer underruns appearing as drop outs, clicks or pops. One or more DPC routines that belong to a driver running in your system appear to be executing for too long. One problem may be related to power management, disable CPU throttling settings in Control Panel and BIOS setup. Check for BIOS updates.
LatencyMon has been analyzing your system for 5:31:24 (h:mm:ss) on all processors.

MEASURED INTERRUPT TO USER PROCESS LATENCIES
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________
The interrupt to process latency reflects the measured interval that a usermode process needed to respond to a hardware request from the moment the interrupt service routine started execution. REPORTED HARD PAGEFAULTS
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Hard pagefaults are events that get triggered by making use of virtual memory that is not resident in RAM but backed by a memory mapped file on disk. The process of resolving the hard pagefault requires reading in the memory from disk while the process is interrupted and blocked from execution.

NOTE: some processes were hit by hard pagefaults. If these were programs producing audio, they are likely to interrupt the audio stream resulting in dropouts, clicks and pops. Check the Processes tab to see which programs were hit.

Process with highest pagefault count: msmpeng.exe

Total number of hard pagefaults 60400
Hard pagefault count of hardest hit process: 10137
Number of processes hit: 157

Gotcha, i'll also add that the text always starts green and doesn't change for 30-1 hour, thanks! i'll report back if there's any more issues.

You may be able to fix the problem by adjusting your audio device settings, updating your sound driver, or pinning down another hardware device that’s interfering. Changing the audio quality on your output device can solve some problems. Some sound drivers use software “enhancements” in an attempt to improve your sound quality. If these aren’t working properly—or if your CPU is being taxed too heavily—these could result in sound problems.

Update sound card driver, you should do same with other devices connected to your computer.

@xrobwx71 So at these spikes i definitely heard some crackles while playing league of legends and a stream on in the background, the crackles happened from discord, very slight but i heard it.

I've updated all drivers that had an update to them, i've messed with so many sound settings, i've tested with disabled enhancements and enabled still happening. :(

Did a reinstall of windows, we'll see how this goes. I skipped out on installing realtek drivers this time around, the control panel would amplify subtle sounds i think with no way to turn that setting off and i think i noticed them more that way. sound quality sounds the same so we'll see how this goes!🤞
