Thanks so much Richard, I guess that is somewhat conforting. One of the 1st things I did was go to unistall recent updates to see if that was the culprit, but I can't access anything, or do a restore. If that is the case, did Microsoft warn of that, after the fact? I know i have additional updates sitting there, but I can't see them, nor will they install. I was trying to re-install my BB desktop manager, which also stopped working and it gave me some CLSID errors, when I went into the registry file, there were probably over 100 keys that were non accessible saying an error was preventing the key from being opened.
