Ram Information shows you are running 5600 MHz
When the processor (13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-13700HX, 2100 Mhz) Supports
Up to DDR5 4800 MT/s
Up to DDR4 3200 MT/s

First things first, you have a WD SN810 SSD and you're running Windows 11 24H2 (build 26100). There are known issues with some WD drives and 24H2 which is fixed only by a firmware update to the WD drive. Download the WD Dashboard and use that to update the firmware for your drive. Then see whether the problems remain.

WD Dashboard and use that to update the firmware for your drive - it says its already to the latest
Fair enough, but it needed to be checked.

I can see that you've been having a fair few live kernel events, these are errors from which Windows is able to recover, though it almost always results in a crash to the desktop. The bugcheck code in every case is 0x141, a VIDEO_ENGINE_TIMEOUT_DETECTED error. As you might expect that's graphics related. Can you please navigate to the folder C:\Windows\LiveKernelReports, under there you'll likely find several sub-folders, look through all these sub-folders and upload all dump files that you find.

Hi ubuysa
there is only 1 file but its 5gb, no idea how to make that uploadable, cant even think of an app that will be able to open it (maybe notepad ++ after like an hour)
Any suggestions?

Thanks Rikky

If it's a dump (ending in .dmp) you won't have an app that can open it, but I do. Can you post a screenshot of the folder listing in which you found this file please?

That one live dump was a 0x141 VIDEO_ENGINE_TIMEOUT_DETECTED, which is pretty much what it says on the tin. The live dump shows the failure occurring in the Intel iGPU driver igdkmdn64.sys...

There is a more recent version of this driver (Revision C) on the HP driver download site for your laptop dated 5th Sept 2024. It seems to be specific to Windows 11 24H2 which you are running. There is also an update to the Nvidia driver on there too. I would download and install both those drivers.

There are also updates to the chipset drivers for your laptop specifically for 24H2. I would review all the drivers on there and get them all up to date.

thanks so much, i will download all updated drivers (i did go to drivers in control panel and check updates from there and it said there were not any for all of them) and i will let you know if i still get issues.

just fyi i appriciate the suppoprt and effort and i will donate to this site once payday arrives
