I installed a 125w phenom x2 955 onto my 95w foxconn board (very stupid, trusted google like an idiot -didn't check the physical board in the case). I've since built a new pc, but i would like to use this for netflix and the likes and dump my xbox360 aka the netflix machine.

Anywho it wouldn't post so i obviously removed it and put my stock phenom back in. I let it sit for a a little over a month now. It boots in normal and crashes at the end of windows and shows a 0x0000007e. Runs just fine (for hours now) in safe mode with networking. Everything ran and worked just fine before i ruined things.

Did a system restore and it actually got to normal mode for a few minutes before BSOD

Did a clean boot, no change

Vista 64bit OEM - original. Was a display model in 2008 and they couldn't reproduce a back up disc, so i do not have one at all.
