I'd gave no qualms about using the MS SATA driver, it works fine W7>10, maybe a tad slower than some OEM drivers, it allows TRIM and it's already running alongside the IRST ones anyway. I use them in preference to the Intel/WU Intel drivers - 4 fewer 3rd party drivers running is fine by me
