Here's what I would try: -Uninstall the printer.-Clean out the user & Windows temp files-Turn off UAC and reboot the machine-Leave printer disconnected then Right click on the setup installation file and run as Admin.-If that doesn't work, download the 32 bit drivers and repeat the above.-If it installs, change UAC back to where you want it.I've seen it several times where UAC is the culprit based on what you're describing.
