Hello, my name is Sean, and I have been experiencing the same windows update problem for a while now. The error that I keep on receiving is Code 8007006E. I have tried every solution that I could find online (System File Checker Tool, DISM tool, SFCFix tool) and none of them have worked. So I have posted my logfile below and attached the CBS log file. I tried attaching the entire CBS zip file, but after following the steps exactly as stated in the sysnative thread, it still would not work. As a result, I attached what I could from that folder. Thank you for your help.

  4. On your Desktop, you should see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCFixScript.txt.
  5. Drag the file SFCFixScript.txt onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it.
