I'm trying to fix a Windows 7 SP1 computer where the drive runs continuously..I've been running it in safe mode and it takes 5 minutes to pull up the user interface after logging in and it's hardly responsive. I checked the resource manager and there is little memory or CPU useage. The graph on the drive tab shows the drive useage pegged at maximum but the processes listed show little I/O.I suspect it has a virus; however, it is so unresponsive it failed to complete an online virus scan after leaving it on overnight. The scan was frozen on the file jscript9.dllAny ideas?Gabriel
