If League Of Legends is the only game where you experience FPS drops but should be able to play smoothly, you may want to get in contact with their support to get it sorted.
I searched for FPS drops with League Of Legends and I noticed others are having similar issues, I don't know if it is related with your problem or not but it may be that the new season needs some optimization.
