I've noticed that here too though I wondered if I would have received the regular mail had it not been for the package they delivered too.
I also note that UPS and FedEx post contract with the Post Office to deliver packages for them - including on Sundays.
And that bothers me because fuel prices have been down and are still down from its peak a few years ago. And in most businesses, when volume goes up, prices come down. But again, not here. Hard to blame that on inflation either.
