I'm used to saying Corr-een, but here in Atlantic Canada there are many who pronounce it Corr-in. Most I come across are understanding if I say it incorrectly.
I find that with my last name, many want to stick a 'c' in there as well. My wife's name is Diane and she gets Dianne, Diana, etc all the time. Can't go wrong with a name like James!
