Hi. I need some guidance please. Windows update is refusing to install updates

I'm having issues with running my windows updates. Issue started 2x weeks ago.
I was trying to run a game and i got a dsound.dll failed to load. I do have the dsound.dll in c:\windows\system32. I tried to use directx updater and the updater says I have the latest direct x version.
Next I tried using windows update to see if that would help. I ran into issues.
I'm trying to update 2025-01 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 24H2 for x64 (KB5049622) and i get Install error - 0x800706be
also 2025-01 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5050009) and i get Install error - 0x800706be

I tried the windows update troubleshooter - The Windows Update diagnostic failed to run
I'm sorry. I was unable to run the Windows Update diagnostic.
I then did an Install in Place. The windows update issues were the same after the Install in Place.

I could use some pointers please. I have attached the cbs file and components scanner results.
Thank you in advance for your help. I will look around the help threads here in the meantime.
