Hi,
Is there an app that will show if an app has failed to give up control of a hardware device?
Handles from sys internals for files, but I am unsure of anything like it for hardware.
I need proof that it is the app and not the driver before I log the fault.
I couldn't find a parameter in the properties of the AG06 in Device manager that will help.
Or see anything in Event Viewer - Windows Logs -> system or Hardware events.
I can get around the problem, but I think it should be fixed. I just don't know who owns the problem, Windows, Avid or Yamaha.
Just so you know it is Avid Sebelius that is not releasing control of the Yamaha AG06 when it is closed and no video or audio will work through the Yamaha AG06. The AG06 must be reset so that other apps can use it.
Latest Driver for the AG06 and updates to Sebelius are installed. Nothing in Avids Knowledge base.
Cheers,
Craig
