I only use this tablet at the gym and leave it in my gym clothes bag so it would be nice to know when it is getting below 10% rather than trying to guess from the bar. I looked through all settings, but didn't see where to enable the percentage to display.

If not, and you are sure there is no setting you overlooked, then I can only guess the other computer you saw was running a battery status monitoring program. I suggest you look through what is available and pick the one that suits you best.

However, Lenovo bundles some software called Lenovo Vantage with their machines. Inside Vantage, there's a battery gauge option (somewhere, not exactly sure where it is) which will turn on a battery % meter in the taskbar. More info here: https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/ThinkP...le-green-battery-icon-on-taskbar/td-p/3667701 If you can't find the option within Vantage, I've seen people reporting that it has been removed in some versions. There's another option, which is a program called BatteryBar. I used it a long time ago, but I believe it still works with Windows 10: BatteryBar Pro: Windows Battery Life Tracker. There's a paid and free version

Both of them show Lenovo Vantage in the apps list, but when I tap on it, it just gives a splash screen and then goes away. There is no actual app that opens and allows me to make any changes, unless I'm missing something. Thanks for the tips. I'll follow them up when I get some time.

The screenshot you've given is definitely the Lenovo battery meter, I've seen it on Lenovo's I've used in the past - it's just a case of working out how to enable it!

But the good news is that I have a solution! I have an extra cellphone power pack that I put in my gym clothes bag so when my battery dies while I'm on the elliptical machine in the middle of an article, I can simply plug in the power pack and then charge the tablet when I get home. Fortunately this table has an alert when battery power gets low, so I have a few minutes warning. I appreciate all the suggestions from other members here, but this really isn't enough of an issue that I'm going to pursue it further. I'll just use the power pack. Thanks again.
