The hidden admin account user name is "Administrator" and yes, the system will treat it as a user and create user files for it under c:\user.

When the Internet drops, do you have to manually re-connect it or does it re-connect automatically?

Yes - there in an Event Viewer log in which you can see network (Internet, hopefully) connections; network disconnections and all in between.

Here is the Event Viewer Log that you're looking for - NetworkProfile --> Operational Log

See screenshots below as you go through the next few steps.

To get to it - click on the small arrow next to Windows Logs

- click on small arrow next to Applications and Service Logs

- go 8 entries down and click on small arrow next to Microsoft; same for Windows just below it

- then scroll, scroll and scroll until you come to NetworkProfile

- 2x-click on NetworkProfile and you'll then see Operational - click on it and you should see today's activity

So, it appears that you're looking for Event ID 10001 for disconnect and [sometimes] 10000 for successfull connection (only if and when your router/SSID appears in the detail.

To get the detail, click on an Event at the top of the Event Viewer.

Be sure to try the Hidden Admin user account first.
