[SOLVED] IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL ntoskrnl.exe+150aa0 - Windows 8.1 x64

Patrick, has quoted twice to rename that driver from GUBootStartup.sys to GUBootStartup.bak, then restart.
Do not delete the driver as it will just reload from the program that uses it.
Umm sorry to interrupt but renaming that driver would also cause the program to create a new driver file since the program won't find GUBootStartup.sys, no?
The best option I came across for this GlarySoft Utilities is the complete removal/uninstallation of the software and then renaming the driver (if it still exists).

Thanks! I'll re-install and follow your steps, just rename file

Please pardon my interruption here, but........

The driver in question appears to come from Glary Utilities - so you can either extract it from their installer (to see if you can copy it to it's location), or you can reinstall Glary Utilities.

In the future, please do not delete (or shift-delete) files - this makes it so you can't recover them if they are needed.
Rename them (as suggested above) and leave them alone for at least a couple of weeks (preferably a couple of months).
