Umm sorry to interrupt but renaming that driver would also cause the program to create a new driver file since the program won't find GUBootStartup.sys, no?Patrick, has quoted twice to rename that driver from GUBootStartup.sys to GUBootStartup.bak, then restart.
Do not delete the driver as it will just reload from the program that uses it.
The best option I came across for this GlarySoft Utilities is the complete removal/uninstallation of the software and then renaming the driver (if it still exists).
