I don't mean to be crass, but you can do some of this homework for yourself and have your answers faster than it took for you to ask the question! 
Did you look at the pads in that link I provided? You can easily find the answers yourself through that link. You can easily see they connect via USB. Do MacBooks have USB? Yes. And you see what size the pads are so you can get one for 15", 17" 19" or whatever size notebook you have. And you can see the prices.
