Devices attempting to install the Windows Recovery Environment update (KB5034441) might see the following error: 0x80070643 - ERROR_INSTALL_FAILURE! This error is due to the size of the Recovery Environment's partition. If you'd like to wait for Microsoft to create a new release of this update, you can safely hide KB5034441 to prevent it from being offered over and over again.

You can temporarily hide this update with the following Microsoft tool (This tool can also be used to unhide this update).
Download
- Double click on the wushowhide.diagcab file and press Next.
- Now the tool will search for updates and performs a scan to detect problems.
- When this process is complete click on Hide updates.
- Now an overview will appear with updates that have not yet been installed.
- Select KB5034441 and press Next.
- When the troubleshooting has complete you can close the tool.
