I got my first shot of the Moderna version on the 14th. 3:30 AM the next morning or roughly 12 hours after the jab, I woke up with 102F/38C fever and chills. I treated this with Ibuprofen.

Throughout the day I felt like I had the flu without any respiratory symptoms. By 7PM, I was feeling better.

I started not to post this as I would not want to dissuade anyone from getting the vaccine. It is however an expected side effect. Some experience it, some do not.
