So I was googling around to learn more about the registry and found this forum. Wow! I couldn't believe the expertise here. In particular user niemiro whose responses I landed upon. I don't currently have any issues but I'm trying to educate myself more about fixing my own system when issues happen.
I started with a Commodore 64 many decades ago and today I have an HP Slimline with Windows 10, and a Lenovo Thinkpad and a docked hard drive both with Ubuntu 22.04 LTS on them, which I use mostly when my Windows installation breaks.
My first question: If I don't have a support issue but just want to ask questions about the registry or system restore or whatever, what forum should I post in? I don't want to muddy the place up.
