So I'm having a problem on hamachi where it says there's a tunnelling problem. When I look for the problem it says there's a network adaptor error. I've checked in services for network adaptors and the 'LogMeIn Hamachi Virtual Ethernet adaptor'. I have tried searching for the hardware through the hardware wizard but keep encountering the 'Configuration registry database corrupt' error when trying to download through the 'Have disk' option.
I've tried most of the solutions I can find online and none have worked. Not too sure what to do now so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Hello and welcome!

Upload Drivers Hive

  1. Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\config
  2. Right-click on the current DRIVERS file and select copy
Note: If you get an error that the file is in use, reboot your computer and then try again.
  3. Right-click on your Desktop and select paste
  4. Right-click on the DRIVERS file on your Desktop and select Send To -> Compressed (zipped) Folder
  5. Upload the zip from your Desktop to a file sharing service such as DropBox, OneDrive, SendSpace, etc. and include the link with your reply.

In addition to that, I am going to need to know what is your OS version.

Thank you.

DRIVERS.zip - link to drivers folder in OneDrive (should work)

OS: Windows 10 pro Version:1809
Find attached the needed file as well just incase

Hi!

Step 1 - Replace Drivers Hive Manually

Warning: this fix is specific to the user in this thread. No one else should follow these instructions as it may cause more harm than good. If you are after assistance, please start a thread of your own.

  1. Download DRIVERS.ZIP and save to your desktop.
  2. Right-click on it and select Extract all.... Make sure the "Show extracted files when complete" is checked and click Extract.
  3. Now we have the DRIVERS file that we will be using to replace your current one.
  4. Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\config
  5. Right-click on the current DRIVERS file and select rename. Rename it to DRIVERS.bad.
Note: If you get an error that the file is in use, reboot your computer and then try again.
  6. Take the file from the Drivers folder on your desktop and paste it into C:\Windows\System32\config

Reboot.

Does everything work?
