[SOLVED] Multiple Windows Updates have failed to Install

OK, let's start with the following.

Please save this registry file to your desktop. Right-click on this file and select Merge to merge this into the registry. Let me know if it says it was successful.

We have several of the same computers in production that are updating fine. do you think it would be wise to export this registry key from one of those working computers and into this machine?

Just to make sure that your publishers aren't different from my environment for any reason?

Pulled registry keys from a computer that is the same model and configuration and successfully imported them into the computer with issues. Unfortunately I will be unable to reboot the machine and attempt the hotfix until later this evening.

Good news, I was able to interrupt them long enough this morning to reboot and try to reinstall that hotfix. The hotfix successfully installed.

Would you like any more log files? I will attempt to run the rest of the windows updates this evening and see if the remaining updates install successfully.

Once I check the remaining updates, I will come back and update this thread. Other than mark the thread as solved is there anything I should do to give you credit for assisting me?

Copying the publishers registry key from a working computer seemed to fix the issue. All updates have installed correctly and checking for updates is much quicker now that all updates have been installed.
