1. Tell Windows to not update drivers. Doing it yourself is much better.

Hit start, type change device installation, click it when it pops up. Choose no (ignore the warning in parenthesis - it's false) Click save changes.

2. Find your network drivers from the manufacturer of the network device and install those and reboot.
