hi and hello again:just noticed no radio button in Control Panel>Folder Options>View>Hidden files and folders. Laptop is W7E-64b, activated. Ran SFC/ scannow and no issues/corruptions. Updates are working satisfactorily, SFCFix shows no corruptions also.Laptop had a virus and removed w/ MALWAREBYTES several months ago. Laptop is a test machine and my issue is registry related I am sure, however NOHIDDEN and SHOWALL folders with keys, values, and data are identical to a working machine with same NOHIDDEN and SHOWALL folders.What is going on....feel comfortable with registry so do we need a registry entry?? Ownership issue? Permissions???Thx...
