Hello All,

We have a handful over Server Core 2019 Servers in our forest, around 45 of them for multiple sub-domains, all managed by one MSP that won't update the CU since September. They are all having the exact same issue and the error messages in the CBS.log file are all the same as well, even right down to the component it seems to reference.

We have a few full Server 2019 and 2022 servers that have been able to update without any issue since that time, but we haven't been able to sort out these Core servers.

We've tried to do the sfc/scannow and /restorehealth commands, but with no luck. Hoping you all would be able to help me out. The .msu updates installer for the past 4 months don't give any errors directly when installing them manually, and they are usually installed through Microsoft Endpoint Manager, but they haven't been working it seems.

Attached are the CBS.log zip and the ComponentsScanner.txt file, please let me know if you can provide any assistance. We've got a premier case open with Microsoft and have for over 3 months, and they have been absolutely zero help.

Hi @Nauticals,

Welcome to Sysnative Forums!

If you haven't already, please review the posting instructions here, and attach the requested log files. Without log files, our helpers will not be able to assist, and this will slow down fixing your machine.

If logs have been already been provided, our team of volunteers will analyse the provided log files to build a fix for your system. Please be aware that this may take several days from your initial post, due to the high volume of threads that we receive.
