[SOLVED] SFC found corrupted files and cannot repair - Win7SP1x64

Hi Peter, great to hear from you again.

I did what you said but no sfcfix.txt file launched at the end, instead showed up a meesage telling me that pc was going to reboot. I´m in safe mode by the way. After reboot, cannot find the sfcfix.txt log file either. However, y ran again 'sfc /scannow' with 100% completion and telling me at the end that it found corrupted files but could repair them all. CBS result file for this ´s been attached.

Should i to the SFCFix.zip process again?

Should i to the SFCFix.zip process again?
No, just do a scan first:
Double-click SFCFix.exe to run the tool. A dialog may come up asking for approval. If it does go ahead and allow.
On completion a log file (SFCFix.txt) will be opened. Copy and Paste its content into your next reply.

Seems everything ok. Will reboot normally and see what happens, do you agree?

Looks fine for now. You people are awesome!

I´m kind of thinking why files got corrupted again. Could it be disk failure? some virus? i have microsoft security essentials installed and after a complete scan, no threats were detected whatsoever.

Great. A virus is likely not the cause of these corruptions.
How old is your disk ?

Download
51ab99ff51ec9-CrystalDiskInfo.png
CrystalDiskInfo.zip and save it on your desktop.
Extract the .zip file into a new folder.
In this new folder, run the tool DiskInfo.
When the tool is finished, it will show some information about the hard disc.
Note: Resize the window so that all information is visible.
Take a screenshot. Read this on how to take a screenshot.
Upload the image file to a file-sharing site and post the download link.

No that old i think, or maybe is it? less than 5 years
screenshot attached.

That disk has some issues so it is best to replace it. This thread started Feb 26 2019 with issues that can be related to a dying disk.
You can do a WD warranty check here: Warranty Status
Please backup all your import data first if not done already.
