[SOLVED] sfc /scannow WRP could not start the repair service.

Ok thanks so much for that analysis. Now how would I go about doing this fresh install as trying to use the windows restore functionality just resulted in "the computer was unable to restore"

Sorry a few other questions - I'm worried about my ssd being potentially permanently damaged from this RAM issue. In your experience would you expect that to be the case? If so is there a way I can check the health of my drive to ensure I don't need a replacement? Also are there any other possibilities of permanent hardware damage being done to any of my other components?

No, for now everything is fine except the RAM which caused this mess. Download the ISO to the USB and boot from it. :-)

You can check your SSD health by using your vendor's utility.

Im sorry im confused. Not sure how to clean the drives. I put my product key in and its showing me all of my drives with a lot of partitions but it says windows cant be installed on them
