If you notice, they're different file packages and registry entries each time. The trouble with issues of this type is that the logs only reveal things a piece at a time, so until you've resolved A then you can't see B, and until you've resolved B then you can't see C ...... etc. etc.

At the moment I've no idea quite how many packages were corrupted, but I have noticed a pattern.

The first group of packages we fixed were all amd64 (64 bit), and now we appear to be fixing their x86 (32 bit)counterparts. There were 10 amd64 packages so presumably 10 x86 packages will need fixing as well.

So far we've fixed 5 of them, so I'm assuming there will be another 5 yet to fix.

Of course there's no guarantee that will be the end of things, but I'm hopeful that will be the case.

Like you, I wish there was a quicker way of doing this, but sadly I don't know of one.
