unable to run sfc /scannow

I tried using the sfcfix.exe with the sfcfix.txt because I'm getting this error too code 80070002 and got 9c49 9c48 or it could have been 58 59 I don't remember as the last two only seen twice.
I'm running windows 7 pro 32 with Microsoft Security Essentials along with Malwarebytes Anti-malware and both are up to date.
Windows keeps installing the same updates over and over.
It shows IE11 had failed to install but when I open IE it says ver 11.
Any ideas on how to fix this would be great

Hello, and welcome to Sysnative!

Can you please post all of the logfiles from C:\SFCFix folder (you can ignore the Backups folder).

Also, please run SFCFix without any script file, just double clicking on it and letting it run, and post that log too.

Here is the log file from sfcfix. How long doe's the sfcfix program run for without a script file? been running for almost 30 minutes and nothing. I added a snip shot of the program and where it's at.

It shouldn't be taking that long. I also find it interesting that it stalls on exactly the section (store directories) where I thought it would find your corruption.

Please close it and instead run the System Update Readiness Tool: What is the System Update Readiness Tool?

That will take up to two hours to complete (usually much less though).

Then please post C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.persist.log.

sfc /scannow will not run and can't do a re:install either

okay I was having help with the sfc /scannow not running and posted my CBS log file and been reading about doing a re:install of windows 7 pro so I thought I would try the re:install. I did a back up of my system file as that's what I was told to do just incase the re:install failed, I got about a third of the way to the part where it's expanding the windows file and stops with an error with out a code saying it couldn't perform this process.
Anyone have a clue as to what I can try besides doing a fresh install. :banghead:

Hey thanks for the quick reply to my post,
to answer your question yes I have, I even went back as far as my system restore would go, and that's back to Jan 2014.
I tried every restore dates.
Last night I tried a program called tweaking.com - windows repair all in one because I was and still am desperate to fix this problem. Seen it on you tube.
Not only can I not run sfc /scannow or do a reinstall of windows 7 pro some of my programs are not working properly.
The last windows update that took was back in Jan 22nd I think it was, but now it won't update at all, keep getting 80070002
I just got a new all in one printer and on this computer I couldn't set the printer up, I had to install the software on my laptop to set it up and that's about when I figured something was not right with my computer.
I have windows 7 pro with SP1 on the disk and it's 32bit not 64bit.
I ran malwarebytes after I updated that program and it ran and found a few rootkits and no malware, I tried registry recycler as well.
Hope I'm not making this any worse but my computer seems to be running normal, just can't update or run or install a few programs properly
I hope that there is someone out there that knows how to fix this mess for me.

I'm really sorry about the delay in responding to your original thread. I've been up to me eyes in work recently

Since you have a possible infection, can I please ask you to follow these instructions: https://www.sysnative.com/forums/security-arena/2507-malware-removal-posting-instructions.html

and post over in our Security Arena for assistance. Please include a copy of the Malwarebytes Anti-Malware logfiles which showed what infections were deleted.

Once that's resolved, I'll finish off over here.
